Our AuthorsAnimal crossing seems to be creating islands deliberately lower
The animal crossing trend seems to be creating islands intentionally designed to be low. After the release of "Animal Crossing: New Horizons", many users believe that other players can visit and explore wonderful works. Although the trend of "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" has changed, it now appears that the current trend is to make the island look as collapsed as possible.
Within a few months after the release of "Animal Crossing: New Horizons", many users created many different creations and projects in the form of customized clothing, objects and island towns. In fact, in the early stages of the game, a talented user managed to rebuild the picturesque town of Onett from Earthbound. Since then, the game has gone through various trends and patterns. However, the current situation is quite strange, at least strange.
In addition, some Animal Crossing players have accepted this challenge in order for their islands to look more durable than the original "Animal Crossing: New Horizons" islands. Of course, this can be achieved by spending Animal Crossing Bells. One might think that this is due to the approaching Halloween. Therefore, some players may wish to equip their island with a ghostly aesthetic. However, almost none of these islands have used any of the assets included in the recent "Animal Crossing: Halloween in New Horizons" update.
For example, Twitter user YoFriendo created a desert-themed island. The photos shown on Twitter showed that there were no villagers or Nook's cracks in the place, and there was no indication that this was still an animal crossing the island. If anything, the island looks like Mad Max.
Another contestant, Ban Forrest, created a cyberpunk-themed island with high industrial aesthetics. The design is reminiscent of the movie "Blade Runner". Cement roads are littered with rubbish everywhere, and windows are broken; games like "Animal Crossing" as cute and lovable can not achieve these goals.
In any case, all of these are the tip of the iceberg. Others have started to create islands with similar aesthetics. To be honest, this is an impressive job, despite buy Animal Crossing New Horizons Items. However, these islands prove the diversity and freedom of choice in Animal Crossing. "New Horizons" allows players to choose the game. One player even managed to remake "Silent Hill" in "Animal Crossing: New Horizons", which further adds to the dark, destructive aesthetic, and some players have begun to apply it to islands.
