Diablo 2 Ladder: D2R Ladder Reset Likely April 2022

Today Blizzard released a new D2R roadmap update that outlines PTR timing and d2r items what to expect from the new patch. PTR 2.4 will pave the way for D2R's first ladder and will test a variety of things including season rolls and item rolls. The developers haven't revealed exactly when the ladder will reset, but have hinted that it could be in April 2022.

Based on information from the roadmap update, Diablo streamer MrLlamaSC estimates that the D2R ladder reset could coincide with an early or mid-April time frame.

“My guess is that the PTR will last for 1-2 weeks. They will drop the PTR on (March 1-4) and then in a couple of weeks...they will drop to (late March). So It doesn't seem like the ladder will start until April," Mr LlamaSC said in the video.

"It looks like the ladder will start this week (April 4-10) or this week (April 11-17)."

Blizzard's own official sources do not 100% confirm the new ladder reset date, as the PTR test has not yet been completed and there may be unforeseen issues, consequences or last minute adjustments that need to be done before Ranked Mode is ready.

"As for the ladder, we're expecting it to come out within a week or two of the 2.4 release. Why a week or two? Because we want to make sure that any issues that may arise when a big update like this is released. A bigger audience than PTR. Sometimes these come up, and we want to make sure that the integrity and competitiveness of buy diablo 2 resurrected items the ladder doesn't hit any snags," Diablo community manager PezRadar said in a recent forum post.
