In the words of Immortal Slade: This is CHRISTMA-A-A-S! I hope you can take some time out of all the celebrations to join RuneScape, as this year RS hosts a huge Christmas event! It is worth our time to play.

Christmas event

This is the best time of the year and Santa needs your help again! The 21 gifts he hid on Gielinor, but he left but was forgotten where he left him.

From December 16th to January 5th, you can find a lost gift every day. Present these gifts to Santa for rewards, including special Christmas titles, funky Rudolph sweaters, and some kraft paper.

Wait a moment? !! Don't worry, this is not a white elephant gift-you will need it for a second Christmas event in the form of a giant Christmas cookie in the middle of a big exchange. Gather your teammates and use paper to make cookies. Then, when everything is done, pull it out and see what prizes are in it! Expect a wealth of RuneScape gold, which may be more attractive than some prizes we don't want.

Finally, those who have completed the 2017 Christmas event will be happy to know that you can cut the slopes of Gielinor again before January 5. If you have lost your skis since then, you can always apply for a new ski at Draygo in Draynor.

Daily Challenge Redo

Mod Shogun will offer special gifts for everyone this year in the form of "Daily Challenge Redo"! From now on, "Daily Challenges" will become less dense, meaningful and challenging everywhere in the game world!

Java is already sunset

As 2019 approaches, our Java adventure will end.

As we notified earlier this month, RuneScape's Java client has been retired on December 18, 2019. Closing the Java client means that we can focus on the NXT version with superior performance, which brings many benefits to the user, such as better performance, larger drawing distance, and enhanced graphics.

But don't worry, Java users! If you are still playing games on the Java client, switching to NXT has never been easier. As long as you are not using an old operating system, there will be no problems.

For the few players who have older computers or run outdated versions of Windows but are still experiencing issues, you can find more information in the Technical Help section of the Support Center. If you need further assistance, you can also get in touch from there.

The shutdown of the RuneScape Java client does not affect players using NXT. Old school players are not affected.

Active Pet Vote

Hundreds of cool, weird and cute event pet contest entries have been created, and now we need to vote to determine the winner!
