As you glide on the ice outside, an update for smooth movement has arrived.

Smooth motion

We have heard before that there will be some adjustments to the way the character moves in RuneScape. So this week, "Smooth Motion" is online!

The movement of any player or NPC character in RuneScape is controlled by the game server. Previously, the server updated your character's position and sent it to your game client every 600 milliseconds (game ticks). The customer then interpolates between the last known position of the character and their new position to make the action look more natural. For example, if a character ends up falling too far behind its new position, its speed will increase by a fixed amount until it catches up.

In short, this update improves the calculations that clients make when moving characters, making mobile look smoother and more natural. If you want to know more, please visit Mod Nin's development blog where you can learn all the cool technical knowledge in this update.

No strange action has occurred before the visit. It's just that I'm sorry for the 3% reduction in RS gold this week.

Say goodbye to Java users on Wednesday, December 18. It's time to say goodbye and download the excellent NXT client. I think the Java client is used to it. Just like I always buy cheap OSRS gold here.
