Nintendo has decided to remove popular hacked items from Animal Crossing: New Horizons. This is why it is important to some players.
In the autumn update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Nintendo responded to players using stolen items. At least with the current method, the player may not be able to use things like fences and trees growing star-shaped fragments from Harv's Island, and it seems impossible.
Although the "Autumn Update" brings many new Halloween-themed content to this season, many New Horizons players are frustrated that Nintendo has changed the invaded items. Let's take a look at what makes some of these items so valuable, why Nintendo may require them to be removed from the player island, and whether these items may be officially implemented in the game.
One of the most sought-after stolen items is the fence used on Haf Island. The fence has a "campground" feel, matching the beauty of Photopia. Hackers can cheat the game by changing the code of the item. Make the game think that it is actually a fence and thus get it. Some people even visited other people's islands, leaving a bunch of fences as gifts for other players. Like other villagers, people sell fences on the black market at the animal crossing.
Part of the attractiveness of the fence may simply be because it is not available. Part of the reason people start digging for information and hacking games is to see unused content and use it themselves when possible. From there, seeing a player with a forbidden fence may have caused others to want it too, and those who can't crack their Switch or are dissatisfied with the idea have to entrust someone who can crack it for them.
As for the star-shaped debris trees, at first glance they seem to have a certain gameplay advantage. In fact, they are completely decorative objects that create a universe island and provide beautiful lighting conditions, and are not always a source of rare materials. Like a fence, hackers can trick the game into loading different models for the fruits on the tree. The actual fruit may still resemble a pear or an apple, but when it is on the tree, it has the appearance of star-shaped fragments.
The beauty of this star-shaped tree is not difficult to understand. They provide beautiful night lights that can turn any island into a myth. So, since so many players have attracted these aesthetic items, why would Nintendo delete them?
One possible theory is that Nintendo does not like people hacking into their Switch or entering the New Horizons code. Nintendo has taken a preventive stance in hacking its games because the company prohibits users of Nintendo Switch Online from using the hacked Switch for arrest. It may treat any tampering with its game code as potentially dangerous.
Nintendo plans to add some of these items in future updates, and you will be able to purchase them through Animal Crossing Bells. "Harv's Fence" undoubtedly seems to be something that can be added in the future, although there may not be a star-shaped debris tree. This situation may be similar to how Nintendo cancelled Undertale tracks before the official announcement of Sans Mii Costume, Megalovania’s fan remixes, or when it shut down popular music fans before releasing its own Mario-themed Royal Royale. When making Super Mario Royale. Super Mario 35. If this is the case, why Nintendo would rather let fans wait for these items to be officially released, it makes sense.
