On February 28th, the Slayer skill will receive its first major update since Nodon Front released last July. This comes in the form of a new Slayer monster, designed to spice up the lucrative secondary skill for many RuneScape players. We already knew this update would add three new Abyssal Killer creatures to RuneScape, but developer Jagex has now given us some additional information detailing key aspects of runescape gold their drop table.
The largest offering comes from the Pit Lord, which requires 115 Killers to kill. These giant demons drop a new level 92 melee weapon called the Scourge of the Abyss. This is an update to the iconic Abyssal Whip, which was first added to traditional MMORPGs 17 years ago. A successful attack against the Scourge will trigger the Abyssal Parasite effect, extending the duration of all melee bleed abilities.
Not only lords have interesting unique drops too. Abyssal Beasts (105 Slayer) drop the jaws of the Abyssal Helm, a level 85 melee power armor helmet. Similar to drops from other Abyss Killer creatures, this enhances various bleed abilities in RuneScape.
The weaker Abyssal Brutes that require 95 Slayers to kill do not have any unique drops. However, they can drop Abyssal Armor Spikes, a consumable add-on that upgrades existing armor spikes or cheap osrs gold for sale trimmed armor spikes. This drop can be obtained from all three new Slayer monsters.
