Dark Horse and Jagex will release the official companion book for the popular video game RuneScape called "RuneScape: First 20 Years-Historical Illustrations" on October 6th later this year. This 224-page hardcover tome was released in March and includes behind-the-scenes information about online role-playing games, extensive full cover art, and extensive interviews with RS gold designers and developers. "RuneScape and Old School RuneScape provide a rich world in which players can freely create their own characters, choose their own tasks, and tell their own stories," the dark horse wrote in the official description of the tome of the illustrations. "Now, Jagex and Dark Horse have introduced a historical guide to the RuneScape franchise, exploring the detailed tapestry of these games through exciting exclusive art and behind-the-scenes interviews!"
