Thoughts on Diablo 4 from a fan

The title suggests I'm a huge lover of the Diablo franchise. I played D2 as in my childhood, and, according to my memories I remember it being a fantastic game featuring a terrifying theme, a unique soundtrack and a fantastic gameplay.

It's not my intention to claim that D2 is the perfect game, however, it was a great game with a lot of positive aspects that define an ARPG in the era of its release. I've played D3 but as you've probably guessed I think it's another game with the same name.

You can begin with a fresh season, complete the mandatory achievements to obtain all set items as well as doing some GRs make you feel like a Super Saiyan with the complete set of bonuses in D3. Another thing I don't enjoy in D3 is the storyline that is told with each new season, you only have to achieve lvl70 taking out monsters across different zones, without knowing the plot of the game in any way. However, D3 has great combat and the game's gameplay is fluid. I'm able to juggle a number of skills and see things go smoothly without lags or crashing.

I played D4 during Blizzcon 2019 and was excited over the title. D4 brought back the dark and medieval style from D2 and also included the same solid combat of modern games.

Certain things I believe D4 should be able to do is make it an actual direct descendant from the franchise

Every boss has their own theme and a unique style of combat. When we were younger when we were fighting Diablo on Act4 with the magma theme. All of it was smothered in fire. The display of Diablo after defeating five seals makes the boss fight fascinating.

Unique music and a medieval theme.

The gameplay goes hand in hand with a storyline, which is what makes this game unique.

Different builds, growing diversity of build makes the game exciting to play.

- Modifying or reducing this super Saiyan mode

Itemization increases the amount of rare items. Items should be distinctive and could be an important element to a build. As consequently, it can increase the variety of builds.

D4 is not yet released, which means that everything could changes, but it's the new character Rogue as well as the features shown at Blizzcon suggest it is a very promising game.
