Tokyo Olympics: When I was 13, I was playing RuneScape!

Adam Peaty praised the achievements of 13-year-old Sky Brown, who won the RS gold bronze medal for the GB team in the women's park skateboarding event at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics on Wednesday.

Pitti spent a glorious time in the Japanese pool, winning two gold medals and one silver medal. Thanks to his victory in the men's 100-meter breaststroke, he became the first British swimmer to defend the Olympic champion.

The 26-year-old has returned to the UK and confirmed that he will take a break from the pool before the tough schedule of 2022.

However, he still pays close attention to the progress of the GB team in Tokyo, and is happy to see the young Brown win the bronze medal in his Olympic debut.

Brown became the youngest British medalist ever because she finished third in the final game at Ariake City Sports Park, behind the Japanese duo Sakura Yosozumi and Kokona Hiraki.

Piti, who is 13 years older than Brown, admits that at her age, his main focus is on games, thus putting her feat in perspective.

"When I was 13 years old, I played RuneScape in my room all day (can swim)," Peaty tweeted.

"This is a crazy achievement, good job @skyandocean_".

It is worth noting that Brown suffered a skull fracture in a crash in California last year. He was not the youngest person on the podium. Silver medalist Hiraki became the first athlete to win an Olympic medal before her 13th birthday.

Brown hopes that her efforts will inspire other future athletes to believe in herself from an early age.

"I really hope I can inspire some girls. I think people think I'm too young and I can't do it, but if you believe in yourself, you can do anything," she said.

"I believe in myself, I am here.

"To be honest, I think that accident made me stronger. The OSRS buy gold accident was very bad. It was a difficult time for my parents, and a difficult time for many people. Come back and win the bronze medal. It's really cool.

"I'm really happy. It really made me stronger."
